-1 ≤ cosθ ≤ 1, 0 ≤ cos2θ ≤ 1

-1 ≤ sinθ ≤ 1, 0 ≤ sin2θ ≤ 1

cos2 θ - sin2 θ = cos 2θ

गणना:

हमारे पास है sin4 θ + cos4 θ - 2sin2 θ cos2θ

(cos2 θ)2 + (sin2 θ)2 - 2. sin2 θ. cos2θ

सूत्र के उपयोग से a2 + b2 - 2ab = (a - b)2

⇒ (cos2 θ - sin2 θ)2

⇒ (cos 2θ)2

⇒ cos2
