Concept:

The coefficient of transmissibility (T)

The rate of flow of water through the entire medium of unit width under a unit hydraulic gradient is termed as the coefficient of transmissibility (T)

F1 N.M Madhu 16.04.20 D4

T = K (A)

∵ A = d × 1

\(T = K × d\) m2/sec

or

\(T = K × B\) m2/sec

Where, K = coefficient of permeability, T = the coefficient of transmissibility, B or d =  the aquifer thickness
