UN Women is a special organization that works to make sure women everywhere are treated fairly and equally. UN Women is also known as the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. It is a specialized agency of the United Nations.

It was set up in 2010 with the aim of promoting gender equality and women empowerment worldwide.

UN Women believes that every girl and woman should have the opportunity to go to school. They should get a chance to learn new things and become whatever they dream of being. They also work to help women earn money, start businesses, and have good jobs.
